Child protection is one of the single most important issues affecting today's complex and multifaceted society.

The overriding aim of this Level 3 course is to promote understanding and appreciation for the contributions made by professionals across key services which support collaborative working that embraces child protection as “everybody's responsibility”.

  • Recognising and responding to the signs of abuse
  • Children in specific circumstances
  • Assessment frameworks, systems, resources and referral

  • Child Protection Enquiries
  • Implementing a child protection plan

Designed for professionals and volunteers working with children, adults with parental responsibilities and professionals working in a wide variety of key services such as Education, Voluntary Sectors, Local Authority (LA) social services and criminal justice, this externally accredited course comprehensively covers the topic and is designed to help individuals gain a greater understanding of safeguarding and the multi-agency contexts in which it is delivered.

Certificated by the CPD Standards Office, it can also be used to count towards any professional development time you may wish or need to record.
