Safeguarding is a hugely important element within a wide variety of settings and is not only a requirement through regulators but is also supported in law. As a result, each individual environment, such as education establishments, Primary Care Trusts and other healthcare environments will have Policies and Procedures, Codes of Conduct, Codes of Practice and/or other specific expectations in place around safeguarding.
